Christians has anything ever happened to you that could only be explained as being the hand of God?

My mom had something happen,my 3 year old daughter was at my moms house and my mom was doing her hair and she had a feeling come over her that made her go check on my daughter before even finishing her hair,by the time she saw my daughter she was blue and choking on a banana,my mom tried to take all the necessary steps to get her air way open so she could breathe, but my daughter collapsed and was not responding, my mom checked her pulse and she did not get one, we live a half hour away form the ER so my mom started to scream out to God for help and out of no where my daughter started coughing up banana, she wasn't even crying it was like it never happened. My mom use to be a CNA so she was trained to check for pulses and I trust she really could not get my daughters pulse.I just wanted to share this and hear about any you may have had happen. As for me I believe it was a miracle form God that my daughter is here and choose to be grateful that things went the way they did because it could have had a different out come. This is just one of many things God has done in my life.

It's absolutely right that you should thank the Lord for preserving the life of your little girl, glory to God!

Thank you for sharing your story.

Here's what happened to me that also could only be the hand of God-

    Ephesians 2:1

[ By Grace Through Faith ] And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

God raised me from the dead, too.

    Praise the Lord!

My mom tells a story about when I was about 2 years old, and she found me dead in her bed. She was sitting in the living room by the fire, and got this strong impression to "go check your daughter". Even though she had two other daughters she knew it meant me. I was born with a heart condition that eventually required a balloon catheterizing of my aorta. Anyway she went into the room that she shared with all of us girls, and found me on the bed, not breathing. She says I was blue, and my skin was cold and clammy, and I was totally unresponsive. Well we were 40 miles from the nearest doctor, a mile from the nearest neighbor, and had no car or phone. Well she says she just "threw the covers over me, said 'your dad can take care of you when he gets home', then walked out of the room sat down and began to pray. I think she was in too much shock to do anything else. She was NOT a believer in any type of God at that time, but she promised God that if He'd give her back her baby she'd live the rest of her life for Him. In a little while she heard me stirring in there, and went in and I was fine. Well she didn't know anything about God yet, but she raised us kids by principles that we eventually learned were Christian, and all of us, except my younger sister, have become Christians.

Source(s): I've heard this story all my life.

That is definitely a miracle from God. I have never had anything like that happen to me personally. But I love hearing of others testimonies.

some things, they are personal for the most part.

my father has the best story. my mother and my father used to drive mini coopers, and before they met he would always catch her at stop lights. he told me he used to think "that's the sort of women i want to marry".

one night, he was in tears and cried out to god to bring him a women.

(he wasn't really a christian at the time, however)

two weeks later my mother applied at his restaurant.

she eventually led him to christ.

    six years later they married.

twenty five years later they still are.

Your story is more intense than anything that's happened to me, but yes, I attribute most things to being the hand of God! (Unless I make some dumb decision for myself... then I suffer the consequences.)

Your daughter was very fortunate....thats it. What if she had choked and died? What would you have attributed it to then?
