Chlorophyll in chloroplasts are required for photosynthesis. Where ever a plant is not green , no photosynthesis is taking place.

This would be roots that are completely underground, flowers and seeds, fruit. But some roots when left in the sun will turn green.

The upper and lower epidermal cells do not have chloroplasts, thus photosynthesis does not occur there.

Places like xylem, phloem, and structures like flowers, roots, buds where there is no chlorophyll and chloroplasts.

Wherever there aren't any chloroplasts are, I think! Good luck!
