My Robo Dwarf hamsters are fighting?

I recently got two robo dwarf hamsters and they are both male. The woman at Pet smart said that they would be fine together because they grew up together. After a couple of days, the started"fighting" I was not there but the person who was watching them said that they would squeak at each-other and wrestle each-other. l have a coconut shell like you would have for hermit crabs and the bigger one would kick the little one out. Today I looked at the little one's rear, just above it's tail and it looked wet and soar. I contacted Pet smart and the guy sounded clueless. he said that they were learning dominance but I was not sure. Has anyone had this problem before? Has anyone heard of this before? If you have, please e-mail me asap! Should I separate them? Help I don't want them to get hurt!

Dwarf hamsters are usually very social creatures as long as they are together from a young age.

In the past I have bred and raised dwarf hamsters and have had any combination of male-male, male-female, and female-female pairs.

Currently, I have a pair of dwarf hamsters, both male, and yes they do fight occasionally (a lot of screaming and kicking is usually involved). It is okay for this to happen as it is their way of learning who is dominant, but if they don't stop or if one injures the other, you will want to remove them to separate cages.

If you still want to try keeping them together, you can put a metal screen down the center of the cage and give each an identical habitat on either side, then if they seem to be fine with one another after a few days of learning each other's scent, remove it.

FYI: this also happens if you keep male-female pairs for breeding (usually with the female being the aggressor).

Separate the newcomer on the instant. on your different 2 she is an interloper into their territory, you're fortunate that they have got not already fought to the demise already. you may desire to in no way placed a sparkling hamster in with an latest one, extraordinarily while your 2 females could have already taken care of out their 'colony' and could see any intruder as a probability. Hamsters can, do , and could combat to the demise, and that they're going to kill one yet another. besides the actuality that robos are often ok jointly if in an identical clutter and saved jointly, you won't be able to easily introduce yet another to the gang, it is to them, comparable to an entire stranger invading and taking on your place.
