Overnight, basically dusk to dawn... Exodus 14:19ff
v. 20 "...as darkness fell..."
v. 24 "just before dawn..."
While we can't state for certain that it took ALL that time, the statements form an "upper limit" on the time. -- The Israelites may have delayed starting across or finished the trip before dawn... we just don't know for sure how long it took... With 603,550 "fighting men" plus women and children, it took quite a while for them to move anywhere.

I really don't think there is a specific time.. "Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all the night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israleites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh's horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. He made the wheels of their chariots come off so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, 'lets get away from the Israleites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.' Then the Lord said to Moses, "stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen." Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the Lord swept them into the sea. The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen-the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the see. Not one of them survived."
The Bible doesn't give a specific time.. it sounds like the better part of a night.

Exodus 14:21 - 27
All night long about twelve hours.
from about twilight 6pm to about 6pm.
On the the morning watch from 2pm til 6pm The egyptians were let go by God to proceed into the open sea to chase after israel.
.While in the midst of the sea God caused the wheels of the chariots to fall off to put them on foot. They tried to flee back the way they came and were drowned.

dEAR SIR,
IN THE REVELATION OF THE QURAN THE EVENTS OF ALL THE PROPHETS ARE CLARIFIED THROUGH THE VERSES AND IMPORTANT EVENTS ARE EMTNIONED AND TIME IS NOT AND IMPORTANT FACTOR YOU CAN IMAGINE IF WERE WITH THE JEWS WHO CROSSED THE RED SEA WE WOULD HAVE HURRIED AS THEY DID TO REACH THE DESTINATION.
ITS SIMPLE AS THAT.
READ THE www.koranworld.com U WILL FIND ALL THE PROPHETS EVENTS WHICH ACTUALLY HAPPENED THOUSANDS OF YEARS BEFORE THE PROPHETS TIME ARE TOLD BECAUSE WITH THE PASSAGE OF TIME THE OLD TESTAMENT WAS TAMPERED AND THE GENERATIONS TO COME LOST THE PRISTINE PASSAGES OF THE WORD OF GOD.

Considering that the entire trip lasted 40 years, I would say at least a year or so.
