What does Perez Hilton want, the truth or a lie?
What bothers me about people like Perez Hilton is that they expect everyone to support Gay Rights even if they don't. Miss California Carrie Prejean's answer to a question about same-sex marriage was how she felt, which is what Perez wanted to know. If you cannot handle a negative answer then don't ask the question. Good for Carrie Prejean's response, it was what she thinks and answering it honestly Perez and other gays need to accept the fact that not everyone is pro gay.

You've got to love those open-minded Leftists.
Hilton also said that the crowd booed Miss California for her answer but if you watch the video she was clearly cheered.

They told us if Barack Obama were elected, the nation would come together. Souls would be fixed. Spirits would be healed. Public discourse would be elevated. Welcome to civility and tolerance in the Age of Obama. o_O

Equality for all, that's what everyone wants. That's what Perez wants as a gay man wants. Carrie Prejean may have spoken from the heart, its her view, but it really hurt him, because gays have always been discriminated against and continue to fight against discrimination. I believe he should not have hated on her or insulted her, that's how Prejean ended up having more sympathizers because of the manner in which Perez handled her response. He needed to be a little diplomatic instead of getting very angry and being rude and nasty.

I think that Perez and Prejean both did things that stood up for they believed for, but that type of question (that is contorversial and somewhat political) should not be asked in a pageant. They might as well asked the other contestants stuff like, "Do you believe that abortion should be legal?" or "Do you think the death penalty should be legal?" These types of questions will get someone upset no matter what your opinion is and can lead to something like this happening.
She kind of did shoot herself in the foot though. I mean Perez was a judge.

I don't expect much from a "man" that draws penises in other people faces. He is a very small-minded person and quite hypocritical because he is always talking about how stupid close-minded people are. For example, he used to hate Miley Cyrus with all his guts but after she "twittered" him saying she supports gay marriage suddenly he loves her. Perez Hilton has no self respect and you can buy him pretty easily. I don't necessarily agree with Miss California's answer being a fellow Californian but I do support her honesty. Not everyone is going to be pro-gay, and Perez doesn't seem to understand that. Well a disgrace like him wouldn't understand he is a disgrace to the human race. OH Well!

Hilton couldn't handle being in the presence of a real woman with morals and principles so he had to try to cut her down. Prejean should hold her head high knowing that she did not sell out under intense pressure.
I wonder what the qualificaions are to be a judge for these pageants. It doesn't seem like a gay male is the best choice for judging a female beauty contest. All the contestants should feel cheated.

He obviously wants a lie b/c he couldn't handle the truth. He is so like so many other gays who get mad and up in arms if you don't support their views. There is NOTHING wrong with how Carrie answered. He shouldn't have been involving his own politics at the pageant anyway. Perez Hilton is an offender who got offended and is now continuing to offend. I was FURIOUS at him for calling Carrie a b*tch and a c*nt. He not only insulted her, but all women for using such derogatory words. He should be ashamed of himself for reacting in such a manner. Perez Hilton is arrogant, proud, and mean!

I loved Carrie Prejean's answer and I loved the fact that she stood up for her beliefs but thats not the kind of answer that wins a beauty pageant and she knew that. Miss USA is supposed to have universal appeal and not alienate anybody by revealing opinions about controversial topics. A winning answer would have said something about individual states deciding for themselves.
That being said, the question was definitely unfair! It put her in a position where she was forced to choose between standing up for her convictions or fulfilling her dream of becoming miss USA.

I never heard of Perez Hilton in my life, but after what I found out about him over the last hour, what the hell is he judging a beautiful Female beauty contest for? Sound to me like he'd rather be watching the Mr. World contest. And what? Did he ever hear of the word Democracy, where each member is entitled to their own opinion whether he agrees with it or not? Go back to the highway rest stops Mr. Hilton, that's where you belong loser.

I support Miss California's decision to stand by her beliefs and speak honestly. I would not expect anything less of a representative of this State. I guess Perez (not his real name) doesn't understand that beauty starts on the inside, and part of that is having values and sticking to them.
And I have to ask. Has the pageant sunk so low that they have to hire a "blogger" as a judge? Didn't the judges used to be professional dancers, professional fashion designers, actors and actresses and other people who actually had a clue as to what constitutes beauty?

Perez Hilton is the Gay Alan Berg, he berates people for disagreeing with him

I kinda agree with you. I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I personally DO agree with gay marriage. If Carrie doesn't agree, that's her opinion and I don't think she should be bashed for speaking her voice. But I still like Perez Hilton.
