Why does "Joe" block anyone who disagrees with him?
"Joe" and a few other incarnations is very annoying in that as soon as you disagree with him he blocks you. Does this annoy anyone else? In two years I've blocked maybe two people--isn't this the whole idea of a discussion?
Guess I just want people to agree with me :) Fire away.
Why Selden, you flirter you. If I put an Anna Paquin mask over my face, will that do?
Pinky, that's who I am referencing--you can't answer and they ask really insipid "questions."

"Joe" is one of a whole breed that like to come here to communicate with humans but evidently wants to tailor the population to conform to his 'idealized' vision of humanity. I don't get it. It's a kooky mentality. If all you want is 100% agreement and praise, you can do that all by yourself without any communication at all. I personally find agreement comforting but I find disagreement more entertaining and in addition, the disagreement is what determines the value of the agreement, so... I don't know... It's just one of those whacky unexplained mysteries.

I actually tried to block somebody for the first time last week. I couldn't figure out how to do it and it really wasn't important enough to me to keep looking for how to do it.
I am blocked by several very partisan people. I try not to take it personally.

Joe may have a problem with developing relationships. He may have an anger management problem and the only way he can vent is to destroy <you> via the block feature on YA. DOn't take it personally. Not everything is about you.

Many hide even when no one is chasing.
Perhaps that is "Joe's" thing.
I know we (U&I) highly disagre, politically speaking, but an intelligent person will want to hear others opinions.
Perhaps "Joe" is lacking.
Please do not worry about such a one.
Have a great day!

I don't know this Joe that you're ranting about, so I wouldn't know. But I have a question since you brought this up. Why do the Repubs have private 'questions', that some people can't answer??? I'm talking about "open questions" ) .Are they trying to hide something? Isn't this a Q & A forum? Why block the answers from people who don't violate any 'Guidelines'? It's so stupid and wimpy.

Some people just want to preach to the choir and get answers from "yes men" rather than acquire new knowledge or have an exchange of ideas.

Flags of our Fathers has blocked me.
I guess he/she/it doesn't like me spreading the truth and exposing he/she/it to be a consummate liar.
"Joe" on the other hand...?
Has some serious mental issues. If he blocks me, whom am I to care?
There are plenty of other trolls on this board on which for me to annoy. :0)

Red Rubber Jesus blocked me for calling him out, since he's a troll.
I think it's hilarious when I get blocked. I clearly got under someone's skin.

Hmmm...is Joe the guy who keeps cutting and pasting that anti-Obama rant with "semper fi" at the end? Sorry, there are a lot of Joes on here. I actually had to block him myself after the eighth time or so.
