Song ideas??? I kinda wanna tell a story. Help?
Ok so i was wondering if anyone could help me get a song idea. I'm in a band that basically plays all types of rock and some jazz. i was hoping i could get some help getting lyric ideas that kind of like tell a story like Panic at the Disco does. all help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I'm not asking you to write the lyrics for me just help with the idea please. and please don't give me any sites like lyricideas.com or anything like that. i've been to them all.

ok simple write what you know practice what you preach. remember a song doesnt have to make sense, it doesnt have to rhyme,etc. no rules what id almost always needs is arrangement.dont matter that your talking about kelly in a bikini and c hange to bruce in a speedo, understand? like you can change subjects as the need arises and the feeling is right.as long as your audience can halfway follow and be associated by atleast 1 really cool phrase your good hence 1 hit wonders.(somewhat) your the writer, just clear your mind start jotting down things and tie em together with words phrases and stay off the songwriter dictionary or we will all be going to google that word.lmfao thats how its done, i always worked backward and arranged then put words to it and with my limited vocab, it just seemed hoakey. remember it will sound hoakey to you until you either get some applause or realize your better than you think.
