What disorder would this be?
I met a boy who claimed he was God and was on top of the world. He demanded everyone bow to him. I can't remember what disorder he had. Would he be Bipolar? Was he experiencing an episode of mania? Or is it something different? Thank you!
I know that he suffered from Bipolar disorder, I'm just wondering if him thinking he was God and being almost on a "high" was from/associated with Bipolar disorder.

Definitely a manic state. Hopefully he gets some help, once grandiose delusion and psychosis mix with the high manic state things can get very bad, very fast.

Delusional Disorder is Schizophenia without the hallucinations. He sounds more like a Megalomaniac or a Narcisist.
I just read your edit. If he has been diagnosed as bipolar, behavior like that can happen when you are manic.

Dear Aimee,
You should steer clear of this boy because something is definitely wrong with him.
Bipolar is the beginning of Manic Depression. There are mood swings and the mood swings are extreme, one minute they are happy and the next minute they are in complete tears, one minute they are affectionate and the next minute they are violent.
Delusional is more the proper term, it is when individuals think they are Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, who knows, however to demand everyone to bow down to him, anyone with a brain would know this boy has serious problems.
I think Delusional leads into Anxiety and then Anxiety leads into Phobias. You need to research Psychology to look-up a term which would define that type of behavior.

He was experiencing a mania. My Mother is Bipolar, and last January, I had to have her admitted to the hospital. She thought that her Grandson was the pope. When she told me that, I just had to laugh, and say to myself...Yeah, the pope of dope, maybe. Well, it's better to laugh about it then to cry.
