Brad, the techknow from Dell--are you out there?

My supposedly "high" speed internet is anything but that. And lately, my mouse cursor wants to get stuck in the same spot sometimes for up to 5 minutes, or it will simply disappear from the page (shows up in the bottom task bar, but nowhere else) especially when I am trying to play a game. My mouse is a Targus Laser ball-type. Should I get a new one??

Tonight I had to send about 15 error messages to Microsoft because none of the webpages I went to would respond and /or wouldn't close when I did the Ctrl-Alt-Delete routine. I also have to stop and wait till the computer catches up with my typing (I first get the cursor arrow with hourglass, and then the hourglass, like it is wanting to go to a new page).

I recently bought a new Registry Cleaner that took out thousands of temporary internet files; I have Stop Sign that does a daily check for viruses/infected files PLUS the Norton 360 anti-virus program. My computer is a Dell Dimension 2350 , and it is maybe 4 years old at most. HELP!!!!!! This is driving me nuts!!

Try opening her up and cleaning it out with a can of air. Dust build up could cause it to slow down since it would raise the internal temperature quite easily if it hasn't been cleaned out recently. I did the same to my laptop, and a fist size amount of dirt and lint buildup came out of the cooling induction and fan area. Since then, I haven't had any overheating issues and its runs more smoothly.

Slow internet speed could very well be because of a flooded registry and a whole of other garbage on your PC... I am satisfied with my Registry Cleaner (PC-Kitchen's Registry Cleaner). My pentium III (don't laugh at me ;)... ) is running like a pentium IV these days...:
