Warranty Is gone now since you broke down into it, I never got down to do it but I tried and the clamps don't remember how but I know X box is very durable and they pack it tight when its made part of the reason why they named it that. I know if you do get down to the m motherboard or central where you can see the CPU AND GPU close to each other you need to get quicksilver or something and reapply it on the bottom of the GPU and CPU , might as well do it since your x box is ****** and try to get something out of it and see if it works. If you dont feel like doing this then try this trick.

    Try the towel trick,

    1. Turn it on and wait for the 3 rings.

    2. Wrap the xbox in 2-3 towels covering EVERYTHING ANGLE even the back it wont get on fire.

    3. Wait about 15-20 mins.

    4. unwrap the X box then turn it off for 15 mins.

    5. Turn it back on see if it works.

Put it back together and Just send it to microsoft. I did it and got it back in 2 weeks, working new again. Go to Microsoft Xbox website, support and print out the free shipping label. Send it to them with all your info in the box. Wa La, You wait 2 weeks, but you get it back updated and like new again. Thank you

If its in warranty, send it back to microsoft to get them to fix it.

If its out of warranty, Im afraid your options are a bit more limited. in this case Id suggest you buy a PS3 as they never suffer fom the red ring of death.

I don't know about trying to do it yourself if you don't know how..

I think your safest bet is to send it back to microsoft? Unless you don't have a warranty? maybe search the internet for forums or something

dah oh wow no offense but you are stupid...you just broke your warranty, you cant turn it in to xbox so now if that DOESNT work your screwed and then youll have to buy a new one.
