Since Jesus could walk on water, why didn't he do a worldwide walk-a-thon to raise awareness for his cause?

Kind of like what the March of Dimes does for babies.

    He couldn't do it these days, what with the holes in his feet and all, he would sink like an innocent witch.

    I think he tried but all of the people joining him drowned at the beginning of the walk-a-thon. It's kinda how the last man standing concept came about.
