safe, free music download sites?

Question

I was wondering if anyone has tried mpfree.com or Rhapsody.com for downloading free music.  If so, I was wondering if they are legal, and if they are like sites like limewire, frostwire, and sharaza (full of viruses).  I was just wondering because I would like to download a few songs, but have had bad experiences with viruses from some sites.  Thanks to anyone who can help.

have used many as an online DJ and most rely on safe uploads from anyone.....this isnt great because
if you download someones upload and its not from a safe pc then youll be riddled with potential malware and wont know about it.
in my opinion youtube2mp3 converter (from dvdvideosoft) is the safest as youtube filter all uploaded songs
so theyre all safe to download.
takes a few days to get used to the program but its safe,secure,reliable and user friendly.

Jamendo is all free.

Amazon's MP3 store has some free promotional songs (usually about 500 or so).

for hindi you can try cooltoad using google search or www.bollyfm.com for english songs you could directly search google or yahoo
