    The hottest is Venus

The surface temperature on Venus is highly uniform and is about 462° C (736 K/864° F); the surface pressure is 96 bars (compared with 1 bar for earth); the atmosphere of the planet consists of nearly all carbon dioxide (CO2).

No, out of two reasons: 1. Other planets which are well observed and with an atmosphere (for example Mars) show a global cooling currently, despite having also had warming trends years earlier. 2. The energy output of the sun is slowly dropping over the last 50 years, a normal cycle in the activity of the sun, and confirmed by satellite and radio measurements. So it can't explain why the temperatures on Earth are slowly rising. It should be the opposite.

Not as you might think Mercury which has an max temperature in the day of 700 K (840 °F or 450 °C).

Venus has a runaway greenhouse effect, as a result it's temperature in the day is 750K (900 *F or 480 *C), a good deal hotter than Mercury.

Venus' atmosphere also contains far more pressure than Earth, it is the most inhospitable inner planet.

    Venus

Even though it is the second planet from the sun, mercury (the first planet from the sun) is covered in smog and sulphur which bounces the suns light back into space- this means that mercury isn't as hot as Venus.

Venus doesn't have all the smog in it's atmosphere and therefore it is the hottest planet in the solar system

Heat is one thing, and it makes the hottest.

But that isn't what you asked.

Warmth is something else, and it is an emotional thing.

The only planet with warmth, the sense of personal contact between individuals, is Earth.

The warmest planet in the solar system, and potentially the only place in the universe that is warmed by love, is Earth.

    Venus!

The atmosphere on Venus traps in the suns heat using green house gases, making it hotter than Mercury (even though Mercury is closest to the sun). Since Mercury has no atmosphere, much of the heat is bounced back off the planet's surface.

The sun is the hotest, origin of heat in our system and so the one nearest to it is the warmest planet. Earth is too far to be considered.
