do you like the older or newer Narnia movies?
As you may know, BBC made another version of Narnia in the 1980's-90's. Personally I like the newer version better. The older version was a bit boring at some bits and it was only interesting to read but the disney version never left me bored like I'm not joking I was totally intrigued the whole time

I agree with you. The BBC are just too long. I mean long movies aren't bad, but there isn't enough in the BBC movies to make them that long, it has lots of boring and stretched out scenes. But it was all we used to have. We used to watch them all the time. I absolutely think that the new ones are better.
I don't care for the BBC's The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, or Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the Silver Chair aren't all that bad, well except Reep, he's a little fake, ok a lot fake! :) And The Lady of the Green Kirtle, when she turns into a snake, that's totally fake. But hey, it's all they could do back then.

Personally, I don't remember Watching the Original Version.
But I wasn't Really a Big Fan of the Newer Ones. And I do remember Enjoying the old ones, Because well..The were Brand New. Not a Cover Version. Because with the New One. It's been Seen and Done Before. So Personally...I Vote Old School.!

i replaced into upset with the action picture. Of the Narnia books, Dawntreader has continually been my renowned. noticeably the tale of Eustace's conversion to a dragon and again to human type. The action picture moved that tale to a lot later than the e book, and prolonged for the time of numerous different memories the position the books had diverse ideas. contained in the action picture, the dragon pulls the Dawntreader. contained in the books they're guided by a dove - a a lot diverse non secular image. The action picture also did not inform you WHY Eustace grew to grow to be a dragon, and to reveal you the act that he took that inspired Aslan to go back him to human type. again, the forged non secular message in both those events replaced into lost. it truly is between the right images of the nature of salvation, and it replaced into lost contained in the way the picture portrayed it. The Narnia video clips were nicely made in words of particular effects, appearing, etc. yet all 3 so a lengthy way have strayed so a lengthy way from the unique works that most of the message interior of them has been lost. it truly is unlucky, because they could were so a lot extra effective. I save hoping that for some thing of the films, the screenwriter will a minimum of be required to verify the books before he writes the scripts. I favor the BBC sequence, with all their undesirable effects, to the present Narnia sequence. My renowned is the lively version made contained in the late 60s of Lion, Witch and cloth wardrobe that follows the e book note for note. And certain, we do want extra video clips with moral, uplifting, and Christian plotlines, they're too few and too a lengthy way between.

Tolkien and Lewis were very good friends, both attending Oxford University and both meeting reguarly in order to examine each others work at a nearby pub in Oxford.
As for Lewis's books they are now believed to have a far deeper meaning than first thought, with each book representing one of the seven medieval planets based around Lewis's belief in a Cosmic God and Creator of the Universe.
Lewis's books are now thought to be far more intricate and based on three levels.
As for TV Productions, there was first of all an Animated Film based on 'The Lion the Witch and the Wadrobe', which was followed by the BBC Production and more recently there has been the more lavish cinema produced films.
Obviously with modern technology and larger budgets, the more recent big budget films are much more realistic and of better quality than their predecessors.

I liked most of the newer movies because it had WAY better special FX.
I still like the older, animated The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe movie just like I still like the animated Lord of the Rings movies. They are classics.
