Going to prom but my date is driving?
About a week ago, this girl called me up and asked me if I wanted to go to prom. We're basically going as friends. Anyway, I said yes, and I've gotten my tux and the tickets and flowers since then. The only thing now is, I don't have my driver's license, but she does. Is it weird if she drives us to dinner and prom? Has anyone done this before? Or should I just try to get her to carpool with some other people? We're going in a group of about 26 people by the way.

I really don't think it would make that big of a deal unless you make it a big deal. Since you are going as friends it most likely isn't going to be that weird if she drives. In my opinion it would be more weird to just carpool with the excuse that you don't have your license.
I'm taking a friend to prom, and I have my license, but my car is a ridicules lunch box so I'm just riding with her. If it feels like it's going to be awkward or anything I'll just laugh.

It really isnt that weird. If you still feel it is... yeah try to carpool with some friends... which might be more fun also.
