What the Hell did the Raiders do?

The word coming out from the insiders on ESPN and Fox radio is that the Raiders got mad when Crabtree was going around dissing Al Davis and the Raiders for moves like what they did today and clowning them-albeit that it is truthful. The Raiders tried to put out the rumor that Crabtree was mini-TO and mini-OchoCinco to hurt his stock out of spite. Another example of how the Raiders miss the point. They should have taken an OL to help with the line if not Crabtree. It was so funny when Chris Berman showed how Kiper's encyclopedia for this year's draft didn't even include the safety when he had 75----yes the top 75 safeties--listed in there.

This is the same Raider organization that picked Jesse Hester over Jerry Rice. Why? Al Davis felt that Jerry Rice was not fast enough to make it in pro ball and the fact that Rice had not faced an elite level cornerback during college.

Of course Raider fans will say that Al knows how to take no names and get the best out of them. Hasn;t happened in 20 years

Well atleast we know Crabtrees career won't suck but i was cracking up when i heard about the safety and i couldn't stop laughing when they showed the recruits grades and Bey got an F but blame it on Al Davis he likes speed and that's what he gets a shitty team. And 4 word to Raider Nation "You Guys Are ******".

The Raiders have serious issues. They could have taken bey about 20 picks later. No one Effs up a great franchise like senile 'ol Al Davis.

I would think that a safety they could have gotten in another round was much worse than getting Heyward Bey at 7. That was a reach for Heyward Bey, but he was at least first round talent.

Mitchell would have been there much later.

Al Davis has become a crazy old man. Someone needs to step up and relieve him of duty. Worst draft ever, for any team. Ever.

the safety becuase they could have got him in round 7. Bey move was only kinda stupid but at least he was first round talent and he could develop into a good catching fast receiver.
