Can someone please explain the difference between the past tense and present/past/future perfect verb tenses?

    Hello,

    Past tense - I saw them yesterday

    Present tense - I see them over there,

    Past perfect tense - I have seen them on different occasions,

    Future perfect tense - I will have seen them by next Friday

    Present Perfect - She has been working on the problem as we speak.
