Why does god get mad?

So god is the most powerful thing, well ever according to a lot of religions. But why does he get mad when we are fooled by the devil. I can understand why he might be sad or something, but the devil is smarter then any human. He almost fooled jesus, who was half god. I'm full human, how can I stand a chance against the devil. So why does he get mad. If he is smarter than us, he would see the flaw in his design. If this was a game, it would be unbalanced, the "AI" is way to smart, you can never win. So why does he get made when we get fooled by the devil and sin because the devil took advantage of our ignorance?

You'll understand god a lot better when you realize he was created by man.

God doesn't get angry, or jealous, or envious, or any other negative emotion. Only men do. The problem is that since the beginning of recorded time, men have tried to create 'God' in their own image, instead of it being the other way around. The creator and all of creation is perfect, though in our finite minds it's hard to imagine this is possible. And the 'devil' doesn't exist. Satan is old propaganda started by churches long ago to try to control people. The bible is just a collection of fairy tales. I do believe god exists, but not in the way that most humans think 'he' does. People try to humanize 'him'. God isn't human. He is the spark and the love in all of us. We are all extensions of him.

    God is love.

God is not 95% love and 5% wrath. Any wrath he does is out of love.

Like a court gives out sentencing because of a crime, the court is not 'mad' it is doing what is right... for the greater good of all. Wrath is not anger. Wrath may be the result of our deviating from the path. If we KNOWINGLY are staying off the path. If we've been duped, God of course is more gentle.

Saul and David were both guilty of the same crimes... God held Saul accountable because Saul was not remorseful but full of pride... David still paid a dear price but was forgiven.

    Great question, I think.

God is greater than Satan, the Devil. He was in fact one of the highest angels, but rebelled due to his pride. As you said, Satan is far more clever than we are and lives in the spiritual dimension that we don't. So his lies, his attractions, appeal to us and we fall into them... pride, lust, greed, and on and on.

But because God gives free will (choice of our behavior), because will not control us (that would remove all value and meaning from a relationship with him), we can choose to accept or reject God, rejection being falling to the Devil.

God hates what harms us, and it angers him, he hates what Satan does, and when all is done God will destroy him. So Satan goes around devouring who he can, and he does... look at our world, it is a spiritual battle.

God's anger is righteous, does that make sense? Some anger is justified, if it iver something that is wrong.

Shouldn't he get mad about it? And he did something about it, sending his son to take our punishment and die in our place.

All that God does is in perfect guidance, judgment and love.

God is Spirit, and interior you is living the Spirit of God. The Spirit is closer to you than your physique or your techniques. The Spirit of God is living in all that's. not something is extra perfect for you ,than this Spirit noted as God. God is the eternal Manna from which love excels. it is your option to settle for or reject that that's living interior. this would properly be a deep and mysterious experience,so attempt to not pay attention to fools, who see not the sacredness of our Being in this international.

He gets mad because the devil is mean and hurts nice people on purpose. I am a level one so I can not give thumbs up or down:(

This is one of the big problems with the theory of god in general. The reason for this is because this was never really thought out to completely, just obeyed. This would lead you to think if God is all powerful why can't he just destroy the Devil? none of it makes sense.

Why did god create the devil if he knew full well beforehand what would happen?

It's because God has a short temper, just like Jesus did when he condemned a fig tree to death.

they are both fictional characters from a book

no different than huckleberry finn or tom sawyer

so i guess they get mad because their author wrote it that way
