R&P:If you were going to get someone into your favorite band,what song and album would you show this person?

My favorite band is Rush.

I would probably first show them the song 2112 and then let them listen to the album Exit Stage Left.

    Band: Nirvana

    Album: Nevermind (even though my favorite is In Utero)

    Song: Lithium, because I don't know anyone who hates that song or Heart-Shaped Box because it's my favorite.

    My favorite band is The Beatles. I would have them listen to Abbey Road. My favorite songs are on it like: Something, Here Comes the Sun, Because, Oh! Darling and Golden Slumbers.

    To me, it is a perfect album

    "Exit Stage Left" is a great album, easily one of my favorite live albums.

    Anyway, my favorite band is probably Dream Theater. To get a person into them, I would recommend the song "Peruvian Skies" and the album "Train of Thought".

    I'm still torn between Judas Priest and Dream Theater being my favorite bands, so I'll just do them both.

    Judas Priest-- Unleashed in the East (I know it's a live album, but it's got most of their best songs performed amazingly live) or Sin After Sin.

    Dream Theater-- Awake (DT at their creative peak, scarcely a dud on the album, and Space Dye Vest is one of my faves)

    I would just let them hear anything done by Led Zeppelin. But, my personal favs would have to be Hey Lady and Whole Lotta Love. Rush is one of my favorite bands too! Rush is my dads favorite. I love Tom Sawyer, the drums and bass are amazing!

    I'm really into Dokken and Metallica, but so many people are close minded about Metallica, so If I was to get some one ito Dokken, I would have them listen to "Dream Warriors", "Breaking The Chains", "Standing On The Outside" and "Just Got Lucky".

    Then I'd have them listen to the album "Back For The Attack" and "Tooth and Nail"

    Well my favorite band is Led Zeppelin.

    To get someone into Led Zeppelin, I would first show them "Good Times Bad Times" and then tell them to go get 'Led Zeppelin' (1969) the debut album.

    first i'd show them the song Help! and then show the the album Sgt Peppers probably (ik the song and album dont match but oh well)

    Sick band, one of the best if not the best live band to ever jam onstage.
