Would You Become a Life Guard or Work an easier job?
I have basically a guaranteed chance at getting a job as a life guard at my mom's work but I just realized that I don't think it would be worth the paycheck.
I'm 16, 5'8" and 129lbs so in that aspect I do not see myself being fit as a good lifeguard. Also, I would be a lot better suited in an electronics store since I am very computer literate and know them inside and out. Same with TVs/Home Theater.
Now my question is if you had a guaranteed position as a lifeguard would you take it even if you could probably find a job at an electronics store?

Most people don't have any choice at all.
Take the lifeguard and keep looking for tech job that you will enjoy. Something is better than nothing.
