What's an effective remedy for morning sickness?

For medicinal purposes, I indulge in a couple dozen after-dinner cocktails every evening. This routine has proven to be an effective treatment for my insomnia, but the residual effect of this regimen always manifest the next morning in the form of fatigue, nausea and projectile vomiting. My boss has already expressed concern about my "greenish" complexion and I was pretty embarrassed when a colleague walked in on me while I was hurling into the recycle bin under my desk.

Any tips on alleviating the symptoms? Post-weekend bender Monday mornings are particularly brutal.

Update:

Why did this post in the pregnancy section? Am I pragnent?

I'd recommend consuming large amounts of vodka. Vodka has a chemical in it that your body depletes which causes hangovers.

Wash about a fifth of it down with a few dozen beers. I hope your car has lots of cup holders in it because you probably will have to drink a bunch when you leave work so you will feel better by the time you get home.

Edit: Good advice, French Toast. And yes, The Nolte does take a Golden Shower every morning. I should know, I help bathe him.

Vomiting every morning in the white paper recycling bin is just GOD's way of telling you the proverbial road to Perdition is coming to an end. Get off your horse and doff your hat, the Notle. Tie your mount to the holy hitching posts of Hell, for thou hath nearly arrived.

" He said, 'come forth and you will see.' And I looked about me and I saw, and it was as if the whirlwind of the darkest storm had overtaken me. Peering into the impenetrable depths of my own adumbral and dusky soul, I feared the end had come and Lo, it had!"

Hydration and tylenol for the headaches. Ginger tea or capsules for nausea Unisom and vitamin B6 also works well for nausea. Lemon / tart flavors helped me too, I kept a water bottle with practically a whole sliced lemon in it to make it very sour, and took small sips constantly throughout the day. Try not to let your stomach get empty, keep small snacks like crackers or granola bars or something on hand at all times.

I seem to have this problem too. I've found that the best remedy is two Alka-Seltzer tablets dissolved in 4oz of premium vodka as soon as you wake up. In fact, you might want to just keep a stash right beside of the bed.

By the time you get out of your morning shower (assuming you take one), you'll be feeling fine.

Ginger Altoids work well for nausea.

    Take the Mexican cure.

IV drip, shot of B-12 in the posterior, and a Xanax.

    Seriously.

Ahh, more sleep and plenty of ice cold water helps me when I get into that situation.

Do you parents know about this, young man? lol

sounds like a drinking problem, not medicinal. and this isnt morning sickness, this is called a hang over.

lol Ginger snaps and ginger ale are good for all tummy upsets. As long as you're not sweating liquor, you should recover and begin again this evening. :)))

Dunno about the IV, but some B-12 and a Xanex definitely works. Take a multi-vitamin too. And some orange juice after a while.
