SBD Recovered. Isn't that great?
A salvage company recovered a Douglas SBD-5 from Lake Michigan, the plans are restoration and placed in the National WWII Museum. Looks to be in fairly decent condition.

Yes it's fantastic when we can preserve pieces of aviation history. Thanks for the information. That's the first I had heard of the quasi-aircraft carriers in Lake Michigan. Thanks Again.
