If you are sure it was white spot, that looks like grains of salt sprinkled on your fish, then just leave the tank emptly for a week.

Ich is a specific parasite, that cant live without a host fish. No fish about, it dies off after a few days.

If it was something else, like columnaris, then empty the tank and Nuke everything from orbit and start again.

More importantly is how to prevent fish from getting it.

Ich "comes alive" when the fish are stressed. They are more vulnerable.

Adding salt to your tank helps boost the immune system of your fish. (not advisable on scaleless fish)

Acclimating your new fish when they come. Put the bag in the water for 20min then release the fish(not the water).

    Keep good water quality.

    Ammonia 0

    Nitrite 0

    Nitrate 20ppm and below

Temperature(research your fish to see what temp.)

    Ph: same as above

25% weekly water changes. Make sure when you add the new water that is the same or close to the temperature of your tank.
