Percent means by 100, so just multiply each decimal by 100 (ie, shift the decimal point 2 places to the right).

    eg 0.08 is 8%

    0.234 is 23.4%

These decimals can be shown as percentages by multiplying by 100.

If you don't have a calculator, just visually move the period two numbers to the right.

    1 = 8%

    1)

    0.08 x 100%

    = 8%

    2)

    0.75 x 100%

    = 75%

    3)

    0.38 x 100%

    = 38%

    4)

    0.27 x 100%

    = 27%

    5)

    1.89 x 100%

    = 189%

    6)

    0.234 x 100%

    = 23.4%

    7)

    0.0025 x 100%

    = 0.25%

To convert a decimal to percent is simple. just simply take the decimal place in your number, and moving it to places to the right. To change a percent to decimal, just move the decimal two places to the left. :D welcome
