1995 Isuzu Trooper Repair Question #2?

I need to replace the seal for the differential cover. When I pull the axles out and remove the cover will I have to adjust any thing before putting it all together again>?

Update:

The gears chunk is attached to the cover. In order to remove the cover the axles have to be removed.......I think.

That depends on which seal you are replacing. The front pinion seal, yes you will need to adjust backlash in the ring and pinion. The rear cover seal, no need to even pull the axles.
