I need to replace the front wheel bearings. They are a little loose. Could I get away with repacking the old bearings in order to drive this truck from NC to Idaho? Nice easy highway miles...

sure no problem what could happen to an important part of the steering at highway speed being worn out.... but before you travel let me know i want to put a life insurance policy on you better odds than a trip to vegas to win

might as well. They're cheap. And you will enjoy the peace of mind and be able to enjoy the scenery on your drive.
Bonus advice: use the old bearings for slingshot ammo

not looking at it i would say no/ those loose bearings amount to worn out brgs/and sometimes you need hubs
