Am stuck and dont know how to handle this?
So here is the deal. My partner is out in Vegas working and has been for like 10 weeks due home in 3 weeks I went out to visit for a week last week of March and it cost me like 2500 bucks in total. Now I am being asked to return for a few days. I have been checking airfares and they are over 400 bucks and I cannot afford to pay that right now. So my partner comes back with oh use my miles.. of which there are over 300,000... (never used) When I went to go check the details it came up that it would cost 75000 freq flier miles... He freaked out and then said "I may not even stay till that date" Then passed me off to one of his co-workers to use his freq flyer miles which are expiring... I am so pissed off.. I maintain the house the bills for the past 2 months and his precious miles he cannot use on me and then to pass me off to a co-worker like a charity case! So I let it go till today he e-mails me with travel deals off Expedia, the price remains the same, I write back showing him the price is still the same and he writes "oh just use my miles" What do I do?

Tell him straight up:
Last time, the price was like this and you didn't seem to want me to use your miles despite the prior offer. So this time, seeing that you're offering your miles again, are you being serious or not?

I think that you getting upset over him offering for you to use someone else's expiring miles is a bit over kill. It would cost a lot of his miles, and his friends are expiring. I would also suggest you use someones miles who are about to loose them for no reason.
I do understand that long distance in relationships can get very overwhelming because it is much easier to communicate with someone in person. However, I do not think that your vacation out to visit him needs to start with a fight. If he said to use them and that he wants you to visit, then use them and enjoy your time with him.

use his miles! if he flips out call it square, you paid for a trip, he paid for a trip..think about it that way. Or just tell him that you have been broke due to taking care of all the bills. C'mon! if he's still upset, tell him to get lost.

use his miles and just dont go so that way u gt ur revenge and besides its his turn to pay if he really wanted to see you it wouldnt be a problem
