I have an Ebay question?

One of two things can happen:

1) You can get in contact with the seller so that the two of you can work it out without getting negative feedback.

2) Try your luck, pay for it with Paypal. If the item is not what you wanted, or it was never received, you can file a dispute on Paypal and definitely get your money back. It happened to me before and I got a 100% refund

Every Ebay seller, and buyer, has to start somewhere. Don't know what you are buying but it may be that the person only has an item or 2 to sell and doesn't want to set up payment options. Clicking "buy" makes a legal contract between you and the seller. If you don't pay, it goes on YOUR record. It is all about trust. Sure there are bad apples. With first timers you never send checks, money orders etc. unless you have to because you bid without reading the Communication, and Paypal, both work to see that its honest users don't get screwed over. They wouldn't stay in business long if they didn't.

I have spent thousands on Ebay in the last 8 years and only had a couple of problems - which turned out to be simple miss-communication. If you would rather not take the chance, contact the seller. Tell them you no longer need the item and, offer to pay EBay's re-listing fees - usually a few dollars.. That's the Honest thing to do.

I try not to buy expensive items off people with no history/feedback but I guess that's a little too late now. It depends what it is. Some items such as tickets etc are the type of things people will do this kind of thing for.. but if it's a household object or something then it could just be their first time selling something

I'm afraid to be the bearer of bad news:

-Either pay or get bad feedback yourself!!!!

-You need to be careful not to bid on sellers who have low feedback or are inexperienced. You put the bid in, it's your responsibility to pay

-Just cover your butt and make sure you pay by a secure means of payment. Request to pay by paypal!

You have to pay, and if you don't get the item tell ebay and they'll force a refund.

Same thing happened to me when buying from those chineese pricks. and I got my cash back.

If it was me I would back out of it, you may be risking a negative feedback, but you could respond to the feedback if needed and explain the situation!

Pay asap!!! The only way you won't get it is if you don't pay and then you'll owe a lot of $!
