The wrong thumbnails being shown can be cure by deleting the file thumbs.db, it is a hidden file.

Or you can go to the picture, right click and refresh thumbnail.

What error message is being shown when you attempt to open the pic in windows picture viewer?

Your computer is infected by virus. See in the root folder of C and activate show hidden files and folder form folder options there will be two or three vb program and thats the virus but you can't delete it unless you remove the hardisk and scan it on other computer with up to date antivirus

use kaspersky as a best solution...............for virus.... and check in properties and also check file association of picture with another software cancel association an refresh else FORMAT ur pc........Sorry for it if happens.........REGARDS..........
