How much is a student metro pass?

I need to figure out how much a student rail pass is from Waseda to Mita. I found it once before but can't find it again. I thought it was here: http://www.tokyometro.jp/joshaken/unchin/

Can anyone help me?

Also, if I travel a shorter distance but in another direction can I still use the pass? In other words can I use a Waseda-Mita pass to go from Waseda to Takadanobaba?

Update:

I guess it's the same thing as a commuter pass. It is for my kids who will be students. Will that make the price less?

What webpage are you seeing the Waseda and Mita fares on? We would need it for about 10 months. Is it about the same price if we got it from Takadanobaba so that we could go that way with it too?

By student pass, do you mean commutor pass for 1,3 or 6 months? If so, between Waseda and Mita is 12,260 yen for 1 month, 34,950 yen for 3 month and 66,210 yen for 6 month.

You can't go to Takadanobaba with pass of that route.

    Addition:

    >I guess it's the same thing as a commuter pass. It is for my kids who will be students. Will that make the price less?

Yes, students can get some discount.

    >What webpage are you seeing the Waseda and Mita fares on?

    Yahoo! Japan Rail page.

If you want to buy it as a student, you need to submit student ID. In that case, they will know your route from house to school. And they will not let you buy other routes.

    Addition2:

As a student, you can get around 40% discount so 6 month pass will be about 36,000 yen.

See if Metro has ID cards for students and bring your school class schedule.

I went to school last year in Tokyo. School staff filled out a form (in Japanese) that gave me a 50 percent student discount on the metro.
