Is there a website showing all live acts in Copenhagen?
I'm looking for a website that shows who is playing on any given night in Copenhagen at any venue (Vega, The Rock, Amager Bio, Pumpehuset, Loppen, Rust, etc.) all on one page. Any ideas?

1 AnswerDenmark1 decade agoWhere is the best place to exchange yuan RMB?
I'm leaving China tomorrow (Zhengzhou Airport connecting in Beijing) for Tokyo (Haneda Airport) and was wondering where I will get the best exchange rate. I can exchange my Yuan for Japanese Yen or US$ but would prefer Yen unless the rates for the US$ are much better.
On my way here I noticed horrible rates at Haneda airport (like buy at 11 and sell at 15 even though the actual rate is near 13). Is there a place where the spread is more like 1-3% instead of 20%?
3 AnswersChina1 decade agoWhere are the best places to watch the Tokyo Marathon?
We were thinking about the corner of Meiji Doori and Yasukuni Doori or the corner of Mejiro Doori at Iidabashi (simply because those are easy places for us to get to). Are there particularly good places with great views and fewer spectators?

7 AnswersThailand1 decade agoJapanese birthday party customs?
My American daughter has been invited to a Japanese girl's 11th birthday party on Sunday in Tokyo. Not having ever been to such an event we don't know the proper etiquette. Should she bring a birthday present like she would in the states? If so, approximately how much should the present be worth and what are good presents to give in such a situation? Is there anything else she should know or be prepared for?
4 AnswersJapan1 decade agoBetter USD to Yen exchange rate at bank in airport or bank in city?
I was planning on changing money at the post office in the airport since they have the best rate (http://www.2think.org/dollar-yen-change.shtml). However, my plane doesn't land until after the post office closes at 4 p.m. The banks' rate is posted here: http://www.narita-airport.or.jp/exchange_e/index.h... and it looks like they have about a 6% spread between buy and sell with cash which isn't horrible, but it can really add up if you are changing thousands of USD into yen. Is the spread less than 6% if I get my USD changed into yen at a regular bank in downtown Tokyo instead of at the Narita airport banks?
3 AnswersJapan1 decade agoIs it possible to open an account with Bank of Tokyo from the U.S.?
I'm going to be living in Tokyo for a year and my kids' school requires payments to the Bank of Tokyo. My bank is going to charge me $20 every time I have to wire money to the Bank of Tokyo. Perhaps it would better if I just opened an account with the Bank of Tokyo for this, and other, reasons. Can I do that from the states? If so, how?
4 AnswersJapan1 decade agoHow much is a student metro pass?
I need to figure out how much a student rail pass is from Waseda to Mita. I found it once before but can't find it again. I thought it was here: http://www.tokyometro.jp/joshaken/unchin/
Can anyone help me?
Also, if I travel a shorter distance but in another direction can I still use the pass? In other words can I use a Waseda-Mita pass to go from Waseda to Takadanobaba?
3 AnswersJapan1 decade agoHow much for cell phones for a family in Japan?
We are going to live in Japan for a year. If we were to get 3 cell phones for our family (with 90%+ of the phone calls being between family members) how much will it cost to purchase/rent the phones for a year and how much will the least expensive calling plan be monthly?
I was poking around and found this site but maybe there are better ones: http://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/english/charge/discount...
Also the above site doesn't seem to talk about the phone, just the monthly rates.

We are hoping to spend less than 120 Euro a night, but if it is really nice we could go up to 150 a night. 2 of the people are kids if that helps. It is off season that we will be there (August) and we will be staying 5 nights.
5 AnswersParis1 decade agoWhat's the difference in all the ways to say cool down?
冷 can be read in more ways than perhaps any other character (including several ways not listed below). What's the difference between 冷える、冷やす、冷やかす、冷める、冷ます。They all mean to become cold, but how can someone tell which of the five words to use?
3 AnswersJapan1 decade agoKanji games for the DS?
It appears that there are many different games for the DS for learning Kanji. My question is, "which is the best for me?" 20 years ago I could read about 2000 kanji and write almost 1000 of them. Through lack of practice I can now only read a few hundred and write maybe a hundred or so. Which of these games for the DS will allow me to get back to where I was? I don't want something too difficult. Plus, I'd like my kids to be able to learn beginning kanji as well. They have virtually no Japanese knowledge.

I'm going to a conference that is at the Hilton Chicago (720 South Michigan Ave.). The hotel is booked already while I'm there so I would like to stay somewhere else near a train/subway station that can get me to the hotel each day easily. Does anyone have any recommendations for specific hotels or specific train stations that I should be looking around?
Thanks in advance!

1 AnswerJapan1 decade agoWhat is the ticket situation like for the Marines and Lions on March 25?
This is for those of you in Japan. If you were to walk into Lawsons today could you purchase tickets to the Lotte Marines or Seibu Lions games on March 25? Or are they sold out? If they are sold out through Lawsons does that mean they will be sold out on game day at the stadium as well?
