anyone know a free adware remover. I have some nasty .dll file killing me?
awtrRhFU.dll is the file. getting a lot of pop ups, slowing me dow and trying to connect me when i'm online.I have downloaded i spy which identified it, but will not remove it. I cannot delete or rename it, even in safe mode command prompt

I would suggest "SuperAntiSpyware" get it from download.com and its been working great for me. I also suggest getting "Regseeker" to fix any errors on your registry to keep your computer working properly. Also "Auslogics disk defrag" because the windows defrag program is trash. Also "ATF Cleaner" is a really handy tool that cleans up various things from your internet browser. If you have these programs and use them all every once in a while your computer should work pretty well again.

hello i would agree with everybody about download Ad-Aware also i would suggest you about Ccleaner.com it would helps too.. For your pc slowing it down.. it would be advance system care. I will post links for you to download and yes it's all free! I use it all on my pc and I have been enjoy their service.. they are so GREAT!

check out Ad-Aware Free
yes it has a paid pro version, but the free one will give you everything you need to scan and fix all infected files just like the pro version .
i tried it before and it does the job

look for anti-malware software they get rid of adware and trojans.

ignore the idiot at the top, you need malwarebytes anti malware, its free.
but.....you need to turn off system restore and restart before you use it.
