Do you find that the songs that play tend to fit your current mood, or it is it that because of your mood you are more aware of certain songs?

Note: this is something you shouldn't do, if you have a large collection of Nickelback songs.
If you have a large collection of Fall Out Boy, you should not go withing 15 ft of your mp3 player.

I Was Thinking Of This Yesterday! I Was In A Really Bad Mood And I Just Wanted Something More Mellow, And All The Songs That Came On Seemed To Fit My Mood, I Thought It Could Actually Read My Mind.

I see no reason to put my MP3 player on random. I have over 2000 songs and all different genres so even though the songs are in alphabetical order, they play fairly random to me.
