What part of REMAKE America, does everyone seem to be missing?

It seems odd how liberals are now rejoicing that they NOW have a filibuster proof congress, and a very liberal President (who will ram even more liberal bills through congress).

The "checks and balances" of our Constitution has been thwarted by the sheeple, who think "Big Brother" politics will somehow be beneficial.

It will seem that way at first, but once they strip away your rights, and your ability to really participate in the political process, it will be too late to realize that you were handing over too much power to just a few people.

Remember, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Neither party should ever have absolute power, but especially the liberals, as they just love to spend money.

It is a sad day in America’s history. Let us hope the bell is not tolling our demise.

All they have to do is prevent the economy from recovering. Unemployed, impoverished scared people will vote for the party that promises the best benefits. Roosevelt got elected four times, all the while doing very anti-business policy (him and his "brain trust") during a time of poverty.

Government control and micromanagement requires a lot of government power - so that people can be forced into things that are obviously stupid or against their interests. Like handing over their gold. Roosevelt tried to support agriculture prices by buying crops and destroying them (during the depression!).

Read about the great depression - it's the script that we'll be following. Except that we're going to also have inflation and cap &trade.

Its nonsense that "the parties have changed" - they're the same elitist idiots.

Heart and someone who honestly cares for The American people. If we do not replace our so called do nothing law makers we will get the same bs that only look out for themselves with our hard earned money. We better get our jobs back for one or there will be no America.

Why can't people just accept that he's trying to fix our image around the world instead of throwing around accusations like this. What part of REMAKE America do you not seem to understand? Have you been watching for the past 8 years? Are you aware of the damage Bush did?
