I want to plant a beer garden.?
My beer garden will include a bench where I can sit and enjoy a nice cold beer, of course. It will also have an arbor over the bench with hops growing on the arbor.
What other plants would be appropriate for a beer garden?
Old Spice, those are plants for the smoking garden, way back behind the house.
This garden will be in western North Carolina, zone 7. I want plants that will have some relevance to beer.

The most traditional tree that is planted in beer gardens is horse chestnut. No idea if your place is big enough for it. ;-)
Any other plant with a relevance to beer other than hops would be barley and wheat. Plus water and yeast. Beer shouldn't contain anything else.

Any sort of climbing vines would be a nice touch. Don't know how much color you want. Hanging baskets would work, and it'd be really neat if you could plant some berry bushes or hanging strawberry baskets. Also, a neat little pond if you feel fancy ^^
