Mister for a boy's name?
So we found out we are having a boy today. I was wondering what peoples opinions of the name "Mister" are. Please keep in mind my fiance and I are a little out there and a weird name is almost expected. I like Mister to because it is gender specific. I also like Braxton. So..what do you think about Mister?
Last name: Memmoli......Mister Memmoli
Please also keep in mid, when a guy is called Mr. they usually use his last name afterwards only, so technically they are saying his full name.

I like Sir a lot better than Mr. Sir Memmoli is also more symmetrical than Mr. Memmoli. Lord Memmoli also sounds okay. Your Royalness Memmoli might also suffice. Braxton sounds best.

Bless you, bless you! When I look at some of the names on this site, I want to push for some law to have the government hand out names instead of mommies who want "cute" and "unusual" and end up cursing the child with some moniker they will hate. There are too many "girls" giving birth to dollies. I was a teacher, and we would crack up over the insane made-up names and the endless fad names and goofy spellings. These kids were doomed. Someone above says that a person makes the name, but your name is one of your first impressions. It was always known that the in-school suspension list was full of these names. Aubrey was a tough one for girls before the fad started. It was a popular song back in the 1970's, and there were a few girl Aubreys because of that. I don't think the name was all the cause of your girl's pain, but it was the straw that broke the camel's back. It is a pretty name, but just a little confusing. Some of the other man's names and last names that girls get today are just not attractive and don't suggest a woman at all. I had a student named Randall Taylor Parker and she dealt with having to prove her gender all the time.

Mister Mister Memmoli is a little out there as you say. I don't like it and I don't expect your son will.
Braxton is reminiscent of the Braxton Hicks contractions one has before the birth but hey, you go for it if you like it!

Mister Mister - wasn't that an 80's band?
They do use your first name when saying Mr.
Mr. Mister Memmoli
Mr. & Mrs. Mister Memmoli
no way.
Braxton is much better than Mister.

I don't like it at all....sorry. Then, he will get called Mr. Mister Memmoli and it reminds me of the group Mr. Mister from the 80s.

Just because the two of you are "out there," doesn't mean you should inflict an oddball name on your child. The child is the one who has to live with the teasing. Save the name Mister for your dog. Braxton would be a better choice.

He would get made of so much for that name. I like Braxton, but Mr. Mister, Absolutely not.

No, because when he grows up and possibly into the business world he will be Mr. Mister ?
just my opinion.
Congrats on the boy :)

No. Haven't you ever heard the story about the clown who wanted to be a knight?!
His name was Mister, and his father the clown thought it was too funny a name!
That's really saying something.
How about Baine, or Nathaniel? Possibly Jason or Markus.
(Stupid scary creepy clowns!!!)
And ewww to the name "Braxton"! He will get teased less if you named him Mister.

Uhm. As a nickname, awesome.
But unless you guys are celebrities, it would be hard to get by with a name like that.
Just go with Braxton and call him Mister if you feel so inclined.
