You need an emulator.
To get an emulator, go here: http://www.emulator-zone.com/download.php/emulator...
Then you need the rom.
Go here for the rom: http://www.doperoms.com/files/roms/gameboy_advance...
Make a folder on your desktop, get the emulator compressed zip file and put it into the folder and right click the file then click extract. Name the folder Visual Boy Advance.
Make a new folder named Pokemon Ruby and put the other file (the rom) in the folder then right click and press extract then go back to the other folder (Visual Boy Advance) and find Visual Boy Advance, open it and click File > Open then find the file in the Pokemon Ruby folder (not the compressed file you extracted) and click it.
Now the game should work on the emulator.
Now you need to set the controls for the emulator.
Go to Options > Joypad > Configure > 1 and click on one of the boxes and then press the key on your keyboard you want to use. For example: Click Button A (the A button on the Gameboy) and press space. Now space will act as the A button. When you are done click OK.
Hope I helped.
Lol I didn't read the actual question. Google the problem you have, you should fine a solution somewhere. And by the way, that happens with everyone.
