pregnancy question. need advice.?

Me and my partner are trying to have our first child. Is is possible to get pregnant when you are not ovulating? At the moment we are just trying but if it does not happen then we will wait, but if it does then we would be over the moon. I am not keeping track of my periods and when i ovulate. (if you know what i mean in that sense). Any advise on getting pregnant without tracking??

yes! sperm can live in your vagina/uterus for 3 days or so after you have sex. so you could not be ovulating when you have the sex, but by the time they reach your egg area...it could be hello baby! general advice on getting pregnant... do think about it! the more you try, the less likely it is to happen. take prenatal vitamins starting now. and just be glad you have an excuse to have lots of sex. ^__^ anything can happen. i got pregnant while on the pill.XD and i didnt miss one single day!

  • Best advice is if you really want a baby keep track for a while so you have a better chance. Some woman can feel like a pressure/slight sramp like feeling on one side where your ovaries are when your ovulating but again best advice is to keep track for a while. Or get the ovulation test from first response

if you arent ovulating you wont get pregnant because an egg hasnt been released. you need to keep track of your period if you want to get pregnant otherwise you wont know the best days to try or even how to work out your due date because you wont know your last period. start tracking them down and perhaps try ovulation tests so you can work out if and when you ovulate. this will help you and youll have a much better chance of getting pregnant than just a case of 'guessing' and disappointing yourself at the end of the month. good luck.
