Set up basic website?
I've purchased a domain name at GoDaddy.com, now I need to know the next steps for setting up a nice-looking, not very complicated website (3 pages, max).
I'm thinking I should purchase a template? Or is there somewhere I can get decent templates for free? I do not have all the know-how (or time, really) to do all the coding myself, so a template is the next best thing (or so I've heard?).
Lastly, once I have a template and customize it with our photos and text, I need to know how to get that on the domain I bought at GoDaddy.
THANK YOU!
EDIT to add details: GoDaddy.com will host the site (for now). Once I get a template, how do I merge that with the domain name and hosting?

Ok so yes a template is a quick and easy idea. I would go to google and type in free web templates or free css templates.
You have your domain and now you need hosting. For cheap hosting i would go to http://www.speedhosting.co.uk/ or http://www.infusionhosting.co.uk/
Once you have the hosting you will need to go to Godaddy.com and login. Then you need to find a page where it says Name servers.
It should be displayed as:
ns1:
ns2:
You will need to change the name that followes the ns1 and ns2 to the domain name you are hosting with....so infusionhosting.com or speedhosting.co.uk.
That will get you linking your domain name to the company you have paid for hosting with. If this seems to complicated then i would choose infusionhosting.co.uk because they will do this whole process for you free of charge.
Once you have your domain hosted with the hosting company you will be able to finally put your website online.
You will need a file client which uploads your website to your domain. I recommend http://filezilla-project.org/ and click on client download.
Your hosting provider will email you with a username and password for you to log inot the control panel... and this is the information you will need to put into the usename and password boxes on filezilla. It will also need your domain name.
Then select your files that you want to upload to the website and click upload.
Once it says complete go to your domain name and there it is. Youe own website.
If you need any help just email me at paulcox123@hotmail.co.uk
or add me on msn messenger with the above email address.
