Blackberry Curve Software Update?

This guy i know has a blackberry curve (as do I) and he said that between a media card he bought, and a software upgrade that he did, he can now record video, watch youtube and listen to the radio.

Does anyone know how this is possible?

Or specifically what i'd need to do so that i could do any or all of those things on mine?

    OS 4.5 makes these things possible. You need to either go to your carriers website and get it from there(recommended) or Blackberry's website and find the update there.
