How do you get negative points?

How in the world did I end up with negative points for this week? I asked 1 question, chose the best answer AND answered other people squestions. Were my answers not good enough? lol

    How you earn point.

    1 > Answering a question + 2 points.

    2 > Choosing best answer for your question + 3 points.

    3 > Voting best answer + 1 point.

    4 > Being picked as best answer + 10 points plus 1 point for every thumbs up to a maximum of 50.

    5 > Logging in to yahoo answers each day + 1 point.

    Why you get points deducted.

    1 > Ask a question - 5 points.

    2 > Receiving a violation - 10 points.

    3 > Deleting a answer - 2 points.

    4 > Unsuccessful violation appeal - 10 points.

    Regularly visiting & contributing to the site is the only way of gaining points, for instance signing in at least once per day, answering a decent amount of questions, voting for best answers and resolving your question, you may have open all help you gain points.

    Remember: Giving high quality, informative & as helpful as possible increases your chances of gaining a best answer which is total of 10 Points + 1 point for every thumbs up to a maximum of 50.

    If more points are deducted than you have added, you will have negative points for the week. The week starts on Monday, and is only hours old. Just answer some questions, do some voting for undecided questions... and you'll quickly be on the plus side.
