I am trying to set up parental controls on my acer but I'm having difficulties.?

Whenever I create a new user account and set up the parental controls the internet stops being accessable. It's on according to my connectivity, but I can't get to it from either the kids account or the administrator accounts. I've done system restore which fixed it but I need to set up these parental controls. I've done it as administrator and as just my regular account name same result for both. Please help I am so aggravated! Thanks!

Chances are you’re missing a step where you select which accounts you want the restrictions to apply to. Usually there are boxes that you check. Make sure your account isn’t checked.
