What would you think about this?

I´ve been trying to help with my knowledge about english and spanish, here in yahoo answers, I´m fluent in both, I do good translations without using online translators.

A few days ago I tried to answer a question but then I saw, another collaborator had already answered well, so I wrote as an answer, "Karen has the best answer" and today I found somebody reported my answer and Yahoo deleted it.

Why did this happened?

Update:

Ok Chelsea, but it wasn´t the first time I do that. I´ve been doing this for a long time and never happened before.

Probably because you didn't answer the person's question, and instead commented on someone else's answer, even if their answer was still the best answer.

Maybe you were just unlucky? Since at the time there was someone who was on the warpath and reported you, assuming they always report people, or it was just a one off.

I guess it never happened before because:

    1. Nobody thought your answer was reportable.

    2. Nobody really cares, since I always see a lot of *interesting* answers that probably should be reported.

So I would say you were jut unfortunate that there was someone who just happened to see your answer, didn't like it, and reported it.
