Would your partner get upset at you if . . . . .?
You call him at the office and told him to come home that it's an emergency only to find you naked in the pool?
He came home and said: "are you kidding me!" I thought he would appreciate I didn't call the pool guy. We could have made love by the pool and he could have stayed and work from home. Instead he left me there naked and went back to the office.
Next time he calls to ask what I'm doing, I'll just reply .....Nothing.

Sorry, it appears that you husband has lost all the spontaneity that he had in the beginning of the relationship, that sucks. I think what you did was funny and exciting.

As a workaholic myself, I have to agree with the hub. An "emergency" is if you were naked along with a female friend.
I hate it when the wife thinks my job is not important and calls for something ordinary.

Well, at that point, the damage was done, he should have, at least, enjoyed the naked, silver lining! ;)
I wouldn't have told him to come home for an emergency, I would have just described what I was doing, and feeling, and let him make that decision all on his own! Then, he couldn't get mad at me!! :)

Mine would LOVE it! But I can see how it could easily go the other way.
Next time, just call the pool guy ;)

Could you have done it without telling him there was an emergency? I'm all for spontaneity but letting your husband think that something is seriously wrong was just dumb. You need to grow up.

My husband would be mad that I worried him, most likely. And, he has the kind of job where people make appointments to see him, often months in advance. If I made him leave an appointment for nensense like that, he'd probably be angry--and rightfully so.

Yes he would get upset. He has to drive far to work, and not able to leave easily unless he got sick at the job. Plus he would have to make up for the time lost.

I would totally dig it if it were an outdoor pool.
