Can someone recommend a hotel near GM Place?

Question

My daughter and her husband are driving down to Vancouver from Vernon for Saturday nights hockey game. What are some hotels within walking distance, or a short drive. They don't know Vancouver at all.

"Hi"...and don't forget about the YWCA gang ( Don't let the name fool you ).....excellent hotel right on the corner of Beattie and Georgia and a 9 iron shot from the Garage !

I think the rooms start at $58.00 and it has an excellent reputation and is spotless ...here's their site so have a peek.......
