u-verse t.v.,,,,why is the volume so loud on some channels and so quiet on others?

Update:

i have tried rebooting the box and other things.

    Does your TV set have an AUDIO LEVELER on it...If it's turned on in the Audio menu, you will have some stations that are soft, while others are loud.

    They may label it as Smart Sound or something like that....
