I'm tired of the Brett Favre saga. He just enjoys the attention and this is the easiest way for him to get it. Sad thing is he's probably still an upgrade over the quarterbacks already on Minnesota's roster

Personally I don't care if he comes back or not. I just DO NOT want to see him as a Viking. We didn't get Cutler because it was supposed to cost us too much, and he really could have helped our team, but now they might get Favre??? Give me a break, we already have an incosistant QB in Tavaris Jackson. Why do we want to pay a guy 10 million a year to throw away games for us? I think we stick with Sage and see what he can do for us. If we get Favre I bet anything we miss the playoffs. He only wants to do this because of his personal vendetta. Don't bring my team down. I know there are people who are going to say he is "still good"... is 22 INTs good? How about 84 INTs in the last 4 years? Didn't think so and he now under throws receivers quite frequently if you haven't watched his games lately.

This is typical Brett Favre drama.
Personally, I feel he should retire and get on with his life. Look at how he ended last season with the Jets. He went into utter collapse and looked old and tired on the field. He injured his arm and lost focus on the game.
Now, he wants to come back to get revenge on the Packers. The most ironic thing about this is that Brett Favre instigated the entire issue. Favre toyed with the retirement scenario several times before finally retiring two seasons ago. Suddenly, he changes his mind but the Packers have moved on and got Aaron Rodgers under center immediately. Instead of trying to smooth things out, Favre played cry-baby and demanded his job back. Management said no and Favre wanted to be traded out of Green Bay.
Brett would be playing out of spite for his old team, not for the love of the game.

I don't have any problem with the guy, but he's going downhill. He has enough money, I think he should just retire. He was a great QB, and I think we should leave it at that. However if he wants to come back (which he probably won't) Then we have no say.

ok this is the truth right here and idc what anyone says. favre cant play anymore but he doesnt want people to think that and is gonna always try to show that he can still play when in reality he cant. thats classic favre.

I hope when he comes back to Green Bay they sack him multiple times. They boo him off the field. They do not offer him the $25 million 10 year deal that he walked away from last year. That Childress and his staff get the same treatment the Jets gave Eric Mangini.

He should have ended it last year and never gone to the Jets. Then he could have walked away with some of his legacy intact. Now he just looks like a selfish, spiteful little boy who's incapable of either walking away or making up his mind.
It's sad. He's turned himself into a joke.
Source(s): jt: How long do you put the team's future on hold? Rodgers had a better season statistically than Favre did last year. If it hadn't been for Favre throwing a horrible INT in the NFC title game against the Giants, the Packers might have been playing the Patriots in the Super Bowl. He cost them the game, just like he cost them so many games with his reckless play. - 1 decade ago
alright, this is just plain stupid now, brett is 40 yrs old, the nfl made retirment for a reason and its so 80 yr old players arent out there on the field, brett should now stick to throwin the football in his stupid wrangler jean commercials, nuff said

I love it! Favre never wanted to retire in the first place. Evil Ted Thompson forced him out.
Source(s): Another bad season? Favre was a Pro-Bowler last year! He was second for the MVP the year before!
