I'm entering a Biggest Losers contest @ Curves, anybody have some ideas....?
On quick ways to lose weight... Of course I'm going to do my workout but it doesn't help when I eat poorly... I think this contest will motivate me but I need ideas on things to eat and what else should I do besides my work outs there?... It's supposed to be at least 30 mins 3-4 times a week... I just don't think that's enough and I also am trying to lose weight before my vacation in July so I can fit my clothes again....
I want to tone up my legs, arms, butt, and DEFINITELY my tummy... it's too big I can't fit any of my pants.... So any workout ideas and ideas of what I can eat would be appreciated because I normally eat greasy fatty foods

Best thing you can do is eat right. Eat a good breakfast, snacks should be fruits or veggies, and meals should be smaller portions.
I eat a bowl of Special K for breakfast along with an orange, usually eat apples, oranges or grapes throughout the day and pack leftovers for school lunches. Dinner can vary, but something small yet low-fat is always best. Keep away from fast food, even the salads at those places aren't as healthy as they say. Home made salads are better for you, and there's a lot of ways to make them. Look online, just search google for low fat food recipes.
Also, drink -lots- of water. I drink anywhere from 4-5 20oz bottles in a day, because sometimes when your body thinks you're hungry and you wanna eat you're actually just thirsty.
A workout is a whole different story. Consistency is the key, doing something every day. I do ten push ups and sit ups every morning when I wake and every night before bed, and after dinner if the weather is nice I go for a walk around my block. If the weather is bad I plug in some music and dance heavily for about an hour, but only coz no one's watching XD
Good luck, hope this helps and whatever happens don't give up. It'll be hard at first but the results are well worth it, I've lost almost 20 pounds doing this and I know I'll keep loosing as long as I stick to it.

avoid a "quick" weight loss. think a lifetime of new habits. the entire household must change, too. get rid of the TV, see your doctor for a full physical to ensure you're in good health, avoid processed foods, and start smiling more often.
