Change the Laptop CPU ?

I have a laptop, it's HP HDX 16t with these :

Intel® Centrino Core 2 Duo PENRYN T6400 (2x2.0 GHz) (Cache 2MB, Bus 800MHz) Montevina

Ram 3GB, Graphic Card 512 MB

But I want to change the CPU into

Intel® Centrino Core 2 Duo PENRYN T9400 (2x2.53 GHz) (Cache 6MB, Bus 1066MHz) Montevina

('cuz I see the same laptop but with this stronger CPU but higher price,so I really want to "upgrade" my CPU later ?!)

Is it possible and is it...risky ?

Getting inside a laptop is ridiculously difficult. If you've ever opened up a desktop, multiply the difficulty by 100 and that is what getting into a laptop is like.

The only things that a typical owner can ever hope to upgrade on a laptop are the memory and the hard drive.

You might be able to pay a professional to do it for you, but the cost would likely be very close to what you would pay to just buy a new laptop.

CPUs in laptops would be of different speeds besides as different manufacturers (amd or intel) for the comparable make computer. There in lots of cases isn't a lot distinction between the speeds perhaps .2 or .3 ghz. except you're getting the cpu for loose this is in all probability no longer properly truthfully worth the attempt. Your 0.33 compartment is in all probability a wirless community card.

ya it is possible but it may cause some other problems in ur laptop.

    It will also be expensive.

So, it will be better to buy the new laptop with required things.
