Could this be Marco's Yr at the Indy 500?

He could win the race this year. I think he'll be the one to break the "Andretti Curse". As long as he and his team figure out a good setup, there's a good pit strategy, and Marco drives a smart race, I don't see why he couldn't win. I'm rooting for Marco on Pole Day. =)

Anyone can win the 500. We never know what could happen during the running of the event. Marco hasn't had much luck at Indy so far and he still has to beat drivers like Franchitti, Dixon, Castroneves, and many others. Odds are the guys to beat will be in Penske and Ganassi race cars.

That would be sweet if he could pull off the Indy 500. I would be very OK with him winning. Go grab you a P1 Saturday Marco!

Is is possible? Yes, anything is possible. However, the favourites in my mind are: Scott Dixon, Dario Franchitti, Tony Kanaan, and Helio Castroneves. They and their teams have the most oval experience and success at Indy. Having said that, it would certainly be a good thing if Marco-or Danica Patrick or Graham Rahal-won, but I don't see that happening this year.

I truly believe this is going to be one of the best 500's ever and yes Ithink Marco could pull off the win. So could Danica,What I would like to see is, Michael and Marco take the front row. but I will settle for AGR cars on the front row. I my dream season AGR cars take rows 1 and 2 , how cool could that be.

It sure would heal a huge "wound" that the Andretti's have suffered in the 500 for the last 30+ years.

I don't think he'll pull it off this year but I would not be upset if he does it.

Mario really wanted Marco to go into Champ Car when it was still around - but the lesser Andretti wouldn't allow it.

I think he stands a chance -- IF he keeps his head on his shoulders (i.e. no dumb moves that Absolutely DON'T prove prowess.)

I dunno. With 3 Penske cars the Ganassi pair and Paul Tracy back in the show it should be a good one this year.
